You found a keeper! If this task truly needs to be done, and requires your point of view, expertise, relationships, or voice/image and likeness, then it's one that you need to do. Now your goal is to figure out what to automate and delegate to free up more time for the work only you can do.

Delegate .

This is something you don't have to do yourself, but it's more complex than a simple automation or something to hand off to an AI agent. Maybe it requires creative decision-making, or the output isn't always predictable. These are things a human being should do...but it doesn't have to be you!

Automate .

I like to call these planned, process tasks. They are perfect for automation because they follow the same instructions every time, and the input and output are predictable. This can be sending information from a form to a CRM, or uploading podcast episodes or videos based on a status change in Notion (or a whole bunch of other things). Perfect for automation so you can focus on the important work.

Note: This is automatable...but whether it's worth automating depends on frequency. I like to say that if it's frequent and simple, or infrequent and complex, it's worth automating.
